Empty Carousel

In Expressions on February 11, 2014 at 6:43 pm

Ever saw an empty carousel at night?

When all the crowd is gone and the dust, which left earth from the convivial treading of happy legs, hovers in the purlieu. And the glittering light shimmers through it, its merriment getting sieved. And there in the corner, silent as a winter night, still as a tree stump, is a carousel which made people happy throughout the day and the evening, but now it’s night, and it is lonely, and the loneliness is haunting.

With nothing but the reminiscent of the beautiful day which went by, it waits for the next day to start to be able to spread happiness again, and eventually get dismantled and wrapped up and start it’s journey to some other place to bring some more smiles.

How different is life? A journey of spreading love, being alone and empty, then moving on to spread some more love..

Reason of All Beauty

In Poems on February 11, 2014 at 6:40 pm

Tell me what’s beyond that rainbow?
A crying sky, a loving Sun..

Tell me what’s beyond that stream?
A sulking mountain, a caring earth..

On and on they asked, and I kept telling,
That affection of a loving heart towards an aching soul, is the reason of all beauty..

Let Me

In Poems on February 11, 2014 at 6:34 pm

Let me see the sea that doesn’t surge,
Let me hear the bird who doesn’t chirp,
Let me touch the heart that doesn’t beat,
Let me gaze the embers with no heat,
Let me hold the pains that are meant to be,
Let me feel the hollowness within me..
